The IDFCreator™ software module effortlessly creates inspection plans. The program first loads customer drawings, then allows quality check points to be superimposed on the drawings. Single or multiple phase inspection plans are created in minutes. Variable, True-Position or Pass/Fail check points can be established. Optical Character Recognition speeds the set up by capturing target dimensions and tolerances right off the client’s drawings automatically. The inspection plans can cover an entire production process or quickly define first article requirements.
The software is designed to work with two large monitors. This affords the operator to view the customer drawings (left) while watching the check point steps of the database grow in the right monitors. The central database can be used to build one inspection plan for a single workstation or production operation. Or you can build a series of inspection plans for many operations and various work stations on the production floors. In every case, the set up is extremely fast and easy. Not only are the check points set up, their order can be arranged to encourage speed productivity and error reduction on the production floor. The IDFCreator thinks ahead to make it easy for the production operators! The inspection plan can also include annotations and reminders for the operators which appear just at the right moment during the production process.
